Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs

Intensive Outpatient Treatment offers the same flexible program options for drug addiction and alcoholism but it require patients to spend more time in therapy and process groups. Patients remain living in your own residence while continuing to work and maintaining their current lifestyle.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Intensive outpatient treatment programs aid those in the early phases of sobriety and recovery from substance abuse. It is a program designed to help individuals develop the insight and skills necessary to be abstinent from drugs and/or alcohol.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (also known as IOP for “Intensive Outpatient Program”) is a primary treatment program recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment. IOP may be recommended for those who do not need medically-supervised detox. IOP can also enable people in recovery to continue their recovery therapies following successful detox, on a part-time yet intensive schedule, designed to accommodate work and family life.

Start rebuilding your personal life and mending your important family ties right away, when you live at home and participate in intensive outpatient treatment. With the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program you are able to establish a foundation for long term recovery support in your local community right from the start of your treatment, instead of waiting until you return from living away in a rehab center.

In the Intensive Outpatient Program, you continue your life with support from the local clinical, emotional and peer support systems provided by the IOP.

Our network of treatment centers consists of the top treatment centers located in Arizona, Texas, Florida, and California.

Standard Treatment Plan

Most drug and alcohol addiction treatments follow this treatment plan.

  • Medical Detox

Most treatment programs start with a medically supervised detox to help control the early withdrawal symptoms that are faced when the body is freed of drugs and alcohol. Medical detox is the safest way to clean out ones body of alcohol and drugs. Medications are used during a medical detox to ensure the most comfortable and safest detox possible.

  • Addiction Treatment

Addiction treatment consists of two choices, Inpatient and Outpatient. Inpatient rehabs are residential treatment programs that are designed for individuals with long-term addictions. Outpatient rehabs or Intensive Outpatient Rehabs allow individuals to get therapy for their addictions while continuing to live in their own residence.

  • Sober Living

Sober living houses ensure that individuals are held accountable to remain sober and continue practicing the principles that were developed from their addiction treatment.
